Omaha Steaks announced the launch of its new mobile website. Developed in-house, the new mobi-site is designed to make it ultra-convenient for users to shop Omaha Steaks from a variety of mobile devices including the iPhone, Droid and BlackBerry operating systems.

 

The Omaha Steaks mobi-site features the company's complete product line, along with informational content, promotions and contests, and a one-touch button that immediately connects the user to a customer service representative. The site makes is easy to quickly complete transactions, along with features that enable the user to check on the status of orders, locate retails stores and link to the download for the company's Steak Time App.

The Steak Time App, available for the iPhone and iPad, was recently featured in the "What's Hot" section of the iTunes store, a distinction earned by only about one percent of all the apps currently available. Available at no charge, the Steak Time App offers features like an informational "Steak 101" section complete with how-to videos, tips for perfect grilling, steak facts and hundreds of delicious, shareable steak recipes. The most unique feature of the app is the innovative 'Grill Timer' feature that enables users to create personalized steak timer settings for everyone on their guest list.
