Birko launches new corporate Web site

Introduces The Birko Advantage Integrated Food Safety Solution.

HENDERSON, Colo. – Birko, a leader in providing food safety solutions to the protein processing, food and beverage industries, has launched a new corporate Web site with expanded content as part of the introduction of The Birko Advantage, a total integrated food safety solution of chemistry, equipmentand technology.

As part of The Birko Advantage, Birko has expanded the Birko Equipment Division by purchasing Chad Co., a Kansas-based manufacturer specializing in automated washing and pasteurizing systemsfor meat harvesting and processing operations. Chad has been renamed Chad Equipment, LLC, a Birko company. Birko has also introduced BirkoStats™, an online chemical tracking system that provides quality assurance, supplier performance and operational excellence for food processing plants.

“For nearly 60 years, Birko has provided environmentally preferable chemistry to the food processing industry,” said Mark Swanson, chief executive officer of Birko. “With the addition of Chad and the launch of The Birko Advantage, including the new Web site, we have expanded our commitment to equipment and ITsolutions for our customers.”
