DNA Brands Inc., makers of the DNA Energy Drink and DNA Meat Snacks, announced that NEXCOM (Naval Exchange Service Command) has become the third military agency to approve DNA meat snack products for sale to its consumers. Both DeCA (Defense Commissary Exchange) and  AAFES (Army & Air Force Exchange Service) have already received shipments.

The combined operations of the three military exchanges operate several thousand facilities worldwide in more than 30 countries, five U.S. territories and 50 states. The exchange operates some 147 retail stores and more than 2,000 fast food restaurants such as Taco Bell and Burger King. The Exchange's mission is to provide quality merchandise and services of necessity and convenience to authorized customers at uniform low prices.

"We are once again pleased to have another military exchange grant approval for the sale of our meat snack products. In order to get to market as early as possible, we designed a special fully contained floor "shipper" to attractively display DNA Beef Jerky Original & Teriyaki flavors and DNA Shred Stix, Original, Pizza, Jalapeno and TACO flavors," said Russ Rickon, vice president of sales. "We expect the shipper program and our aggressive pricing will build customer loyalty and get us firmly positioned in the Exchange's shelf programs on a permanent basis."
