Just in time for fall tailgating season, the bold flavor of Old Bay Seasoning is now available in Old Bay Sausages, handcrafted by Roma Gourmet Sausage in East Baltimore. The product is being served at a specialty stand at M&T Bank Stadium for the 2011 Baltimore Ravens’ season, and can also be found at select Maryland and mid-Atlantic retailers.

Old Bay has been the taste of Charm City for over 70 years with its unique blend of 18 herbs and spices. Now, the versatile Chesapeake Bay flavor icon goes from seafood to sausage, with zesty results. Perfect for the season’s game-day gatherings, Roma’s Old Bay Sausages score big at tailgates and family dinners alike.

“We’re excited to bring together two distinctive tastes of Baltimore,” said Ben Flood, Old Bay brand manager. “Whether you’re tailgating at the stadium or at home, genuine Old Bay Sausages are a one-of-a-kind way for die-hard fans to celebrate their love of Old Bay and their favorite team.”

“The initial response from local retailers has been fantastic,” said Dean Paciocco, president and COO of Roma Gourmet Sausage. “I really wanted to create the ultimate flavor of Baltimore – and who better than a local icon like Old Bay to help us do that? It’s a taste of our hometown in every bite.”

The sausages are available at the specialty stand on the club level at M&T Bank Stadium and at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Old Bay Sausages are also available “hot and ready” at local Royal Farms locations and select retailers, including: Giant/Stop & Shop, Safeway, Food Lion and Weis Grocery Stores.
