AdvancePierre Foods donates $10,000 to autism awareness
As part of its commitment to give back to the community, AdvancePierre Foods and its Pierre Drive Thru brand—a new line of flavorful, high quality hamburgers and chicken sandwiches—presented a $10,000 check to Elliott Sadler on Saturday at the Auto Club Speedway track prior to the start of the Nationwide Series race. Sadler accepted the donation to the Hermie and Elliott Sadler Foundation to help raise autism awareness and support initiatives that improve educational opportunities for children and their families.
"AdvancePierre Foods supports Elliott Sadler and his foundation for the strides being made to help children with autism. We are proud to present this $10,000 check to help further the foundation's work to find a cure for this developmental disorder," said Trey Taylor, vice president of marketing for AdvancePierre Foods' Brands division. "We are thrilled to have Pierre Drive Thru sandwiches sponsor Elliott Sadler and the No. 2 Chevrolet Impala. We wish Elliott much luck for a successful racing season."
