Glorious Malone's Fine Sausage introduces country pates
Glorious Malone's Fine Sausage Inc. has introduced Malone's Country Pates, a new line of gourmet pork products. Using only natural ingredients, and with no fillers, preservatives, artificial colors or flavorings, Glorious Malone's makes each of the four varieties with select pork raised exclusively in the mid-western United States. They are gluten and allergen free. With their flavor and texture, the delicacies are similar to European-style country pates, but with a distinctive Southern flair.
The four flavors of Malone's Country Pates include Mildly Smoked, with its subtle smoked flavor and smooth texture, Spicy Mild with a hint of peppercorn spice, Smokey Hot that's seasoned with smoked paprika, and Jazzy Hot with a peppercorn flavor.
"Our new Country Pates are not only delicious, they're also very versatile," noted Daphne Jones, Glorious Malone's CEO. "Of course they're great for snacking and they make a terrific sandwich, but they're also wonderful stirred into scrambled eggs or tossed in a salad. You could even deep fry battered cubes for an irresistible appetizer. The possibilities are endless. We encourage our customers to think outside the cracker!"
For over 60 years, the family business has been producing its exceptional gourmet headcheese, and last year shipped over 300,000 pounds of its all-natural products to grocers, supermarkets, delicatessens, taverns, and through distributors across the Midwest.
Originally established by Glorious Malone with her husband George in Milwaukee, in 2011 the founder was posthumously inducted into the prestigious Meat Industry Hall of Fame, and was officially recognized as the first African-American woman to earn accreditation from the United States Department of Agriculture.
"Throughout her life my mother was an innovator," said Jones. "In her honor we are very pleased to introduce these exciting new pates."
