Executives from Service Cold Storage and Tippmann Group joined with Stevens Point city officials and representatives from the State of Wisconsin to break ground on a new cold storage warehouse facility at 5700 E.M. Copps Drive in Stevens Point, Wis.
The new facility will serve as a frozen distribution warehouse for food industry customers, covering nearly 157,000 square feet, and creating 30 new jobs in the community. Service Cold Storage selected Stevens Point to be the home of this new facility, in part because the willingness of city officials to work with SCS to make the site a reality for this project.

The New East Park location allows us the ability to expand and grow in the ever prospering economic community of Portage County and Stevens Point, WI. ”
The warehouse, scheduled to be completed in June 2014, includes 126,982 square feet of frozen storage space, an 18,700 square foot shipping/receiving dock, maintenance and material handling areas totaling 4,166 square feet, a 2,813 square foot machine room, and a 4,200 square foot one-story office.
