American Meat Science Association has announced that Jeff Canavan, Teresa Carpenter, Pat Bourke and Joe Weeden will be the featured speakers in the symposium entitled “Food Waste/Food Insecurity.”

The award was established in 1965 to recognize members with outstanding research contributions to the meat industry.

Drs. Nuria Prieto, Mohammed Kamruzzaman, and Chris Calkins will be the featured speakers in the symposium.

Dr. Manpreet Singh and Mr. Nick Roth will be the featured speakers in the keynote symposium entitled “Innovations in Food Safety” on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

Graduate teaching assistants are encouraged to be “cleavers” by being resilient in teaching abilities, breaking through to students, and enhancing their knowledge.

Kendra Waldbusser, Dr. Martin Wiedmann and Dr. Dayna Harhay will be the featured speakers on August 17 during the Reciprocal Meat Conference.

Dr. Teresa Davis will be the featured speaker in the keynote symposium entitled “Nutritional Importance of Animal Protein in the Diet,” during the 74th AMSA Reciprocal Meat Conference.

Kristen Dale, Koushik Adhikari, and Elizabeth Suter will be featured speakers at the Reciprocal Meat Conference in August.
