Anritsu X-Ray Inspection Systems meet your detection needs

By Industry News
August 13, 2014

Anritsu Metal DetectionFinding small contaminants that can damage production equipment or injure consumers and ultimately your brand is no longer a gamble when you choose Anritsu High-Definition (HD) X-Ray Inspection systems. The company’s HD, Ultra HD and DualX X-Ray technology results in effective and reliable detection of these contaminants.

Anritsu X-Ray Inspection equipment was built with the commitment to safety and high accuracy detection known and insisted upon in Japan. To date, more than 7,000 X-Ray inspection systems have been installed worldwide.

Finding various sizes and types of contaminants requires different solutions. Anritsu HD systems typically detect metal contaminants as small as 0.7mm diameter and 1.0mm to 2.0mm diameter glass and stones. Meanwhile, Anritsu UltraHD technology can detect down to 0.4mm diameter ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel sphere at production line speeds. DualX X-Ray Inspection Technology further advances Anritsu’s ability to detect low-density contaminants. It analyzes two different X-Ray energy signals simultaneously, allowing it to distinguish between product and contaminant. DualX X-Ray Inspection Technology has a higher detection rate of low-density items compared to conventional X-Ray systems. It is ideal for detecting low-density poultry bones including fan, scapula and pulley bones in filets and also offers improved bone detection in beef and pork cuts. Detection of stone and glass in products containing harvested items as seen in granola bars is also maximized.

“There is an industry report that compared multiple vendors and Anritsu came out on top as the leader in detection, accuracy, reliability and importantly—ease of use resulting in better operational performance and a lower cost of ownership,” said Erik Brainard, president and CEO, Anritsu Industrial Solutions USA, Inc. “Anritsu technology is very consistent, very reliable, and you can trust that it’s going to detect contaminants repeatedly. This is important in this type of technology because at the end of the day it’s an insurance policy that’s helping you to assure the quality of your product.”

“We test every application; we run it on our proprietary software, and we go to every length possible to make sure that you’re going to be satisfied once you get our equipment,” added Christopher Young, Business Development Manager. “We stand behind every piece of our equipment in the field and have never lost any of our trials to a competitive system so we really feel we have something unique to offer the marketplace.” We invite you to Watch ourExclusive Video onwww.AnritsuXray.com and discover what you’ve been missing.

Anritsu offers a wide range of X-Ray Inspection Systems, Checkweighers, Metal Detection Systems, Combination Checkweigher and Metal Detection Systems, Rejector Systems, QuiCCA QA Software, Detection360 and Performa360programs.
