No-Tox Food Grade Dry PTFE SPray 225.jpgTotal performance lubricant manufacturer, Bel-Ray, announced the introduction of its new No-Tox Food Grade Dry PTFE Spray.

Conveniently packaged in aerosol form, the multi-purpose dry film lubricant is NSF-H1 approved for machinery used in “clean industry” applications such as those found in food processing, food preparation, pharmaceutical processing, and the production of personal care products.

Fortified with Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, the new spray lubricant offers one of the lowest coefficients of friction between solid surfaces available in the industry. Bel-Ray’s proprietary user-friendly formula won’t deteriorate plastics or painted surfaces, is non-toxic, non-corrosive and non-irritating.

Ideal for bearings, slide ways, conveyors, cams, hinges and other locations that see repeated use, the Bel-Ray No-Tox Food Grade Dry PTFE Spray leaves a clean, durable, dry film that’s water resistant and ensures smooth operation of vital production equipment.

Safe for industries where lubricants like molybdenum and graphite are not allowed, No-Tox Food Grade Dry PTFE Spray meets NSF-H1 and FDA requirements for incidental food contact. It is also recognized as compliant under the Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) criteria established in California’s Consumer Products Regulations by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), as well as compliant under proposed VOC limits by the Ozone Transport Commission (OTC) for “Dry Lubricants.”
