JBT Processing Power designed to deliver higher yields, higher margins

By Industry News
October 20, 2015

For today’s processors, it’s all about power. And power starts with innovation. The ability to achieve more throughput, to realize a higher yield and to grow your business stems from your willingness to innovate your processes, procedures and your plant. And, to do that, processors need a powerful partner – and they’ve got one in JBT. With its expanded product portfolio and unrivaled expertise in both processing and plant management, JBT demonstrated its power to attendees at PACK EXPO 2015.

With the ability to provide powerful solutions both up and down the line, JBT offers equipment for both traditional processing – including case-ready meats, pork belly and red meat trimming and poultry processing – as well as equipment much further down the line, including supply chain and plant operations management, where JBT has a longstanding reputation for excellence.

“Today’s industry is about innovation, and that doesn’t mean simply installing the newest piece of equipment,” explains Daniel Plante, JBT’s director of sales and marketing. “It means really looking at your business, finding new and more profitable ways of doing things and harnessing the power that a more lean operation can give your business.”

For case-ready meats, JBT will construct a line that features the Frigoscandia ADVANTEC impingement freezer, the TVI GMS 500 singlecut slicer and the DSI 844 waterjet portioning system. Additionally, the company’s redesigned booth will highlight DSI J-Scan inspection system. All of the innovations in this line have been designed to deliver higher yields and, hence, higher margins.

JBT’s Automated Systems division will also be showcasing the JayBoT, the industry’s smartest Automatic Guided Vehicle, and the new i-Pal palletizer from industry partner CSi. Integrating the JayBoT with the i-Pal palletizer gives processors a fully automated and affordable end-of-line solution.

The company’s Food & Beverage division will also be on hand with its industry-leading Fresh ‘n Squeeze Multi-Fruit Juicer.
