Birko promotes Bob Ogren to Vice President of Equipment Division

Birko, a leading provider of food safety solutions to the meat, produce and beverage industries, today announced the recent promotion of Bob Ogren to the position of Vice President, Equipment Division.

In this new role, Ogren will be responsible for the operation of the Kansas office including the sales and service of all Birko and Chad equipment. Birko acquired Chad Equipment, a custom equipment manufacturing company located in Olathe, KS, in 2011.

“Bob has proven himself to be an experienced and knowledgeable leader in this industry and we couldn’t ask for a better individual to head this division,” said Mark Swanson, CEO.

Ogren joined Birko in 2013 as the Director, Equipment Sales and Service. Prior to joining the company, he was the North and South American Sales Manager for System Cleaners, Inc.
