New packaging showcases fresh appeal of popular Pierre burger
AdvancePierre Foods, a nationally recognized, fully integrated producer and seller of sandwiches and value-added proteins, has introduced a new, fresh-appeal package for the Pierre Jumbo Chipotle Bacon Cheeseburger.
The packaging consists of a clear, flexible film – featuring easy-to-read labels and a front-of-pack calorie call-out – that is securely hand-wrapped and sealed with a tamper-evident label to keep in the fresh flavor. The packaging features the recognizable Pierre logo and retains the key visual elements of the original printed film, helping consumers make an easy transition to the new package.
“We are making an investment in fresh-appeal packaging,” said Tony Schroder, president of convenience channels at APF. “Consumers get a clear view with no compromise to product integrity.”
The Pierre Jumbo Chipotle Bacon Cheeseburger is designed to be sold from a refrigerated cold case or vending machine. It has a 14-day refrigerated shelf life.
