Southern Arkansas University, has announced plans to restore poultry studies to the curriculum. The Magnolia Reporter stated that the program would be restored, “probably in a larger way than it was before,” President Dr. Trey Berry told the Board of Trustees on Friday.
The plans would include a new chicken house to be built near the Agriculture Building. It would include a chicken processing facility, designed to blend in with the Georgian-style architecture of the rest of the campus.
