Bush Brothers Provision Co., a fifth-generation family-owned meat purveyor, marks its centennial anniversary in 2025 by celebrating the opening of its new headquarters and distribution facility located in Royal Palm Beach, Fla.

Founded in 1925 by John M. and Harry L. Bush, the family business began as a local grocery store and meat market in West Palm Beach. Over the last ten decades, their model evolved, establishing the company in the Southeast Florida market, expanding into the Caribbean with export services and catering to clientele including fine-dining restaurants, resorts, yachts and country clubs.

Marking its 100th year, the company has invested in its future with the move from its historic West Palm Beach headquarters to the new 48,000-square-foot space in Royal Palm Beach. The facility features expanded temperature-controlled environments for packing, storage, dry-aging, cutting and loading, alongside a commercial kitchen, modern office space and employee communal areas.

Family members from the Bush family are involved in operations daily, from the front office to the cutting floor. With a fifth generation and counting at the helm, their sights are set on expanding their territory while seamlessly servicing current and prospective partners.

“After 100 years on Dixie Highway the Bush Brothers Family was thrilled to move into our new state-of-the-art facility in Royal Palm Beach,” said Curtis Bush, Bush Brothers Provision CEO. “It’s an exciting time for our employees, partners, and customers, as we push forward with the continued growth of Bush Brothers. Our dedication to supplying high quality proteins and best-in-class service to the market remains at the forefront. We are fortunate to have wonderful customers, many of which have been with us for decades. We look forward to welcoming them to our new facility and showing the investment we have made to their continued success.”

Executive Vice President Doug Bush said, “In an era in which legacy family businesses are struggling to navigate challenging times, we couldn’t be more proud to carry on our family’s one-hundred-year tradition in this new facility with exciting growth plans for the next 100 years.”
