PMMI report finds most OEMS, end users anticipate aftermarket business growth
PMMI emphasizes that OEMs and suppliers must optimize inventory management, strengthen remote services and expand training initiatives.

PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, announces the release of its 2025 Aftermarket Parts & Service Report, a resource for all packaging and processing stakeholders. As aftermarket services increasingly drive business growth and customer loyalty, this report offers intelligence to help OEMs, suppliers and end users navigate a rapidly evolving landscape.
The 2025 Aftermarket Parts & Service Report reveals that nearly all (94%) end users and OEMs anticipate growth in their aftermarket business over the next three years, with 98% of end users expecting to expand or maintain their aftermarket budgets. As companies confront challenges around lead times, technician shortages and evolving customer expectations, the report emphasizes the need for OEMs and suppliers to optimize inventory management, strengthen remote services and expand training initiatives.
The report reveals that 75% of end users identify immediate parts availability and fast lead times as their top expectations. Remote services, predictive maintenance and proactive obsolescence planning are becoming nonnegotiable to remain competitive.
“The data is clear: Aftermarket services are no longer secondary — they are critical to business success,” said Jorge Izquierdo, vice president, market development, PMMI. "Companies that align their aftermarket strategies with customer needs today will be tomorrow's industry leaders.”
Industry stakeholders can advance their aftermarket strategies by attending packaging and processing event Pack Expo Las Vegas 2025, set for Sept. 29–Oct. 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The show will bring together 35,000 attendees from over 90 countries, 2,300 exhibitors across 1 million net square feet and more than 100 educational sessions featuring innovations in digitalization, sustainability and aftermarket support.
At Pack Expo Las Vegas, attendees can experience firsthand the innovations and strategies highlighted in the Aftermarket Parts & Service Report and meet the companies that bring them to life.
“With aftermarket playing an increasingly critical role, there’s no better place to prepare your business for the future than PACK EXPO Las Vegas,” said Jim Pittas, president & CEO, PMMI. “This is where innovation meets opportunity.”
