ReposiTrak adds 40 seafood suppliers to traceability network
Seafood suppliers leverage hardware-free traceability solutions.

Food traceability and regulatory compliance network ReposiTrak, leveraging its established inventory management and out-of-stock reduction SaaS platform, is adding 40 seafood suppliers to the queue of companies joining the ReposiTrak Traceability Network. These companies will exchange intricate, FDA-required key data elements for each critical tracking event in their supply chains, with the goal of meeting traceability requirements before the FDA’s 2028 deadline.
Among the 40 new seafood suppliers are companies with deep expertise and distinctive backgrounds. A global open-ocean raised fish company, founded in 2007, brings a large-scale, sustainable approach to aquaculture. A sustainable Pacific Northwest-based fishery, operating for over 20 years, is rooted in time-honored harvest practices. A California-based, mission-driven brand founded in 2012 is known for offering a variety of responsibly sourced foods, including a focus on sustainable seafood.
“Seafood suppliers are not only facing FSMA 204 deadlines but also increased traceability demands from retailers,” said Randy Fields, chairman and CEO of ReposiTrak. “With our hardware-free platform, these businesses can meet both regulatory and customer requirements quickly, without costly system overhauls.”
The ReposiTrak Traceability Network requires no additional hardware or software, and the ReposiTrak team assists in making the connections needed under the new regulation. Suppliers can connect to an unlimited number of trading partners and share data for a flat fee.
