Women's Meat Industry Network opens award nominations
Nominations are due Aug. 1.

The Women’s Meat Industry Network represents over 2,000 individuals in the meat and poultry industry. The organization is seeking nominations for the Impactful WMIN of the Year Awards, an opportunity to recognize WMIN members who go above and beyond in working toward the organization's shared mission.
Impactful WMIN of the Year are leaders in the meat and poultry industry who are passionate about the education, development, and promotion of women in this industry. They share the WMIN mission to make achieving the powerful benefits of gender diversity a shared goal in the meat and poultry industries. They are bold and not afraid to fulfill the WMIN promise to challenge the status quo to create opportunities for diverse talents and perspectives that help the industry thrive.

Graphic courtesy of WMINThe top five nominees will be recognized in October 2025 at the WMIN Event at Meat Institute's Protein PACT Summit in Los Angeles, Calif., with one woman of the five honored as the Most Impactful WMIN of the Year. The nomination form is available online, and nominations are due Aug. 1.
