In response to the devastating flooding across Texas, Greater Omaha Packing Co. has coordinated the shipment of 19 pallets of Ideal Pure bottled water — 38,304 bottles totaling more than 5,000 gallons —to Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries in Boerne, Texas.
The water was picked up and shipped July 9, 2025, with the help of Greater Omaha Express, the company's dedicated logistics arm. The shipment is scheduled to arrive today and will aid in recovery efforts in areas impacted by recent severe weather and flooding.
"We're proud to be able to step in and offer support during this difficult time," said Henry Davis, president and CEO of Greater Omaha Packing Co. "As a company rooted in community, we believe in taking action when our neighbors are hurting, no matter how far away they are."
Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries, a respected nonprofit organization in the region, will oversee the distribution of the water to affected families and individuals.
Greater Omaha also extends its gratitude to Greater Omaha Express for expediting the shipment and ensuring the water reached Texas quickly and safely.
