Fortifi Food Processing Solutions, an end-to-end, full-lifecycle food processing equipment and automation solutions company, is appointing Alison Gavin as chief people officer.

Gavin brings more than 20 years of human resources experience to Fortifi. At Distill Ventures, the world's first independent accelerator for the drinks industry, she served as managing director, talent partner and head of people, and built both the talent strategy and the tools to support portfolio growth and prepare brands for acquisition. As vice president of talent management and organizational development at Suntory Global Spirits, she transformed talent strategy and organizational design to support business objectives through hiring, career development, change management, leadership development and team effectiveness. In previous positions in the spirits and financial services industries, she built her career through regional, national and global responsibilities for talent acquisition, assessment and succession planning, and learning and development.

Gavin holds a baccalaureate in applied mathematics from Lehigh University and studied for a Master of Education in counseling and personnel services at Fordham University. She is based at Fortifi’s global headquarters in The Woodlands, Tex.
