Cumberland Poultry, a manufacturer of poultry production equipment and solutions, is introducing two products to help make poultry house environments healthier and more dependable. The products include: HotRhod radiant heaters and plastic feed line hoppers.
HotRhod radiant heaters
HotRhod heaters utilize separate upper and lower tube temperatures and a series of reflectors to distribute heat more uniformly throughout the building, creating an even comfort zone for birds.

Key features include:
- Upper combustion tubes contain the flame and operate at higher temperatures.
- Lower tubes are designed to distribute a lesser radiant energy, resulting in reduced hot spots directly under the units and more uniform floor temperatures across the house.
- The U-bend at the end of the heaters has a separate end reflector directing the energy outward, allowing optimum uniformity between units.
- The highly polished aluminum reflectors allow an optimum heat pattern for best uniformity.
Plastic feed line hoppers
Cumberland’s plastic feed line hoppers provide reliable feed delivery and are made for flexibility, with a small footprint design and easy retrofit attachment. Available in 100- and 150-pound capacities, this hopper holds an optimal amount of feed to help maintain full feeders and healthy birds.

Other benefits include:
- Easily installed line brackets make hanging and stabilizing the hopper a simple task.
- The simple pin detachment design allows for easy hopper installation and maintenance.
- Hopper bottoms are reinforced for added durability and ensure a solid connection.
