Family-owned duck producer Joe Jurgielewicz & Son is making restaurant-quality duck accessible to home cooks with celebrity chef-inspired meal kits, branded as Plated By. The inaugural meal kit, available exclusively at TastyDuck.com in early November 2025, was created with culinary innovator Chef JRob. The Plated By Chef JRob kit includes two separate recipes: Tasty Thai Duck Quarters and Tasty Duck Gumbo.

Consumers are increasingly cooking more meals at home and seeking alternatives to chicken, beef, pork and fish. Duck has transitioned from being a limited special at many restaurants to a staple on menus.

“We are thrilled to bring the restaurant experience home with Chef JRob, making it simple for families to enjoy top-tier duck for a weeknight meal or a special occasion,” said Joey Jurgielewicz III, director of business development at Joe Jurgielewicz & Son.

The Plated By meal kits simplify the process for home cooks of all skill levels. Similar to other customizable boxes from services like Butcher Box and Good Chop, the kits include the chef’s preferred cuts of duck for each of the two featured recipes, step-by-step preparation, cooking instructions and a QR code that opens a video from the featured chef to guide the process.

Chef Justin “JRob” Robinson, who went from dorm room cook to a culinary star, brings deep Southern roots from Mobile, Ala. The executive chef is a former Falcons’ pregame chef and founder of The Chef JRob Experience and Rockstar Kitchen. JRob has curated VIP culinary experiences for brands like Hilton, Cadillac and The Home Depot, in addition to appearances on Food Network. He is also a culinary influencer and educator dedicated to inspiring the next generation of chefs.

“I’ve used America's Tastiest Duck for numerous corporate events, and I'm thrilled to work with Joe Jurgielewicz & Son to bring my rockstar flair and their tasty duck straight to your kitchen. Forget the fear—this kit makes it simple to be a chef in your own home,” said JRob.

The Plated By meal kit series will see new celebrity chef kits introduced quarterly, with an expected price range of $50-70 per kit.
