Women's Meat Industry Network elects The National Provisioner's Sammy Bredar to board of directors
Sammy Bredar joins an accomplished slate of board members, including new members Chelsie Romberger, Jacque Matsen and Becky Faudre, as well as Collette Kaster, Amanda McKeith, Sandra Sage, Kim Fleming, Sharon Birkett, Drea Starch, Sybil Hika, Jennifer Dibbern and Kerri Boling McGee.

Sammy Bredar joins the Women's Meat Industry Network Board of Directors
The National Provisioner is proud to announce that our Associate Group Editor Sammy Bredar has been elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Meat Industry Network (WMIN).
The WMIN Board is comprised of accomplished women leaders dedicated to advancing the meat industry and supporting women throughout every segment of the industry. Bredar joins a talented slate of board members, including new members Chelsie Romberger, Jacque Matsen and Becky Faudre.

The Executive Committee recommended, and the membership approved, retaining the current leadership slate for 2026 to ensure continuity: Chair Natosha Walsh, Vice Chair Jennifer Dibbern, Secretary Kerri Boling McGee, Treasurer KatieRose McCullough and Past Chair Angie Krieger.
WMIN seeks to make gender diversity a shared goal within the meat and poultry industries, recognizing the benefits of diverse perspectives and talents. The network offers various resources, including professional enrichment webinars, mentoring platforms and networking events, to empower women at all career levels. Bredar’s participation on the board will allow her to contribute to these initiatives while continuing to represent The National Provisioner in the broader industry.
In addition to her work in the meat industry, Bredar also serves as Associate Group Editor for Dairy Foods, focusing on membrane technology and its applications across the food and beverage industries. This cross-sector experience positions her to bring a broad perspective to the WMIN Board, fostering connections across industries.

In addition to serving on the WMIN Board, Bredar has been selected to serve as co-vice chair with Jacque Matsen on the WMIN Communications Committee for 2026.
