Phoenix Manufacturing launches cooling system for livestock and poultry facilities

Quiet fan running at under 85 decibels reduces stress for livestock and noise fatigue for staff, also preserving ideal growing conditions.

Phoenix Manufacturing, a designer and manufacturer of evaporative cooling solutions for demanding climates, announces the launch of Agricool, a system tailored to the specific needs of agricultural and commercial environments. The first Agricool innovation, AG42S, delivers industrial-strength performance with a quieter fan and cooling efficiency.

AG42S consistently regulates temperature and airflow in settings where heat and ventilation directly impact daily operations. Along with livestock and poultry facilities and greenhouses, the cooling system is also well-suited for warehouses and other large-scale applications.

Proven to decrease overhead costs, unplanned maintenance and equipment strain, AG42S' features include:

  • Strong airflow: The 3” rigid media system produces up to 21,195 cubic feet per minute of cold air through a VFD-compatible, direct-drive motor. Output well exceeds most other agricultural coolers, which rely on belt-driven fans or simpler setups.
  • Lower operating costs: Greater cooling strength doesn’t compromise efficiency. AG42S uses significantly less energy than belt-driven fans to cut down on operating expenses.
  • Quiet power: A quiet fan running at under 85 decibels reduces stress for livestock and noise fatigue for staff, also preserving ideal growing conditions.
  • Easy setup and service: Newly redesigned cabinets enable faster, more accessible maintenance. Available single-point connection consolidates wiring into one junction location for straightforward installation and control.
  • Lasting durability: Cabinet is constructed with heavy-gauge galvanized steel and backed by a five-year warranty.

“Standard cooling systems often waste energy and require extensive upkeep,” said Scott Morling, president of Phoenix Manufacturing. “Steady, quiet performance is critical when even brief temperature fluctuations can lead to costly losses or discomfort. AG42S was developed with these realities in mind to ensure reliable cooling, simplified service and the rugged build quality needed for around-the-clock use.”

AG42S delivers measurable energy and cost savings for a faster return on investment than standard cooling systems. Morling added that long-term operating efficiencies offset the upfront expense to provide strong lifetime value while supporting sustainability goals.
