Papa Johns Oven-Toasted Sandwiches
Pizza restaurant chain Papa Johns is debuting Oven‑Toasted Sandwiches, made with toasted ciabatta-style bread, layered meats, white American cheese and new sauces.
“This launch is more than a new menu item—it’s a statement about where our brand is headed,” said Shivram Vaideeswaran, senior vice president of brand marketing at Papa Johns. “We’re taking the flavor and quality leadership we’ve built in pizza and pushing it further. We’ve created sandwiches that stand out in a crowded category by delivering a more intense, satisfying, and premium flavor experience. Oven-Toasted Sandwiches are our next step in bringing bold innovation and high-quality ingredients to everything we do.”
Each sandwich is brushed with the brand’s Special Garlic Sauce and finished with either a pizza ranch or garlic truffle sauce.
The Oven-Toasted Sandwich lineup is made with no artificial colors and includes:
- Philly Cheesesteak: Seasoned steak, roasted onions and peppers, pizza ranch and white American cheese.
- Chicken Bacon Ranch: All white-meat grilled chicken, bacon, diced tomatoes, banana peppers, pizza ranch and white American cheese.
- Steak and Mushroom: Seasoned steak, roasted mushrooms and onion, garlic truffle sauce and white American cheese.
