All‑Natural Chopped Duck
Pekin duck producer Culver Duck Farms is introducing a new value‑added product line, All-Natural Chopped Duck, aimed at increasing operator access to duck and reducing labor in both retail and foodservice applications.
Culver Duck Farms developed the chopped format to offer a more versatile, ready‑to‑use duck option for prepared foods, meal kits and global cuisine platforms. The line includes three varieties: Szechuan Marinated, Unmarinated and Buddhist Style.
According to the company, the product is minimally processed and made from 100% all‑natural duck with no artificial ingredients, antibiotics or added hormones. Culver Duck Farms raises its birds in free‑to‑roam barns and was the first duck producer in North America to earn American Humane Certified status.
Sean Smith, general manager for Culver Duck Farms, said demand for convenient, high‑quality proteins continues to grow across retail and foodservice. “Our new Chopped Duck makes it easier than ever to incorporate duck into today’s menus,” he said, noting the product’s consistent cut and labor‑saving attributes.
The chopped format is designed for use in soups, stir‑fries, dumplings, bowls, tacos, and other applications where operators want premium flavor without the prep time associated with whole‑muscle duck.
As a vertically integrated operation, Culver Duck Farms manages all stages of production, which the company says supports traceability and food‑safety control. The new line is currently available through Weee, an online Asian grocery platform, and select 99 Ranch Market locations.
