Retail corporation Target announces a new limited-time Good & Gather Collab with James Beard Award-winning chef, restaurateur and television personality Roy Choi.
Good & Gather Collabs + Roy Choi brings Choi’s signature inventive flavors to snacks and treats exclusively in Target's aisles, each celebrating flavor mashups and cultural fusion shaped by Choi’s Korean-American heritage and the multicultural food scene of Los Angeles.
All items are priced under $6, and the lineup features both savory snacks and sweet treats. The lineup includes a pineapple chili beef and pork meat stick and smoky umami recipe fried pork rinds.
"I wanted this to feel like how I cook and how I connect with people. My food is about flavor, but it’s also about community and having fun. Snacks felt like the right space for that," said Choi. "These are familiar items, but the flavors reflect where I come from and the mix of cultures that shaped me. This is about bringing people together and having a little fun. Even if it sounds new, once you taste it, it just works. I wanted something that feels exciting for people who know these flavors and approachable for those trying them for the first time."
Since launching in 2019, Good & Gather has become Target's No. 1 selling owned brand, offering everything Target customers need and want, all at great value, the chain says. This is the third installment of Good & Gather Collabs, previously featuring Chef Ann Kim and Pitmaster Rodney Scott. The brand includes more than 2,500 items, all without artificial flavors, synthetic colors, artificial sweeteners and high fructose corn syrup.
