AAMP’s 87th annual convention in Milwaukee will bring educational sessions, demonstrations and a sold-out exposition floor geared toward small processing operations, with numerous networking opportunities.
"AAMP conventions in Milwaukee are always a great time, and our Wisconsin members provide excellent hospitality and stiff competition at our American Cured Meat Championships," said AAMP Executive Director Chris Young. "We're very excited about returning to Milwaukee this year."
The American Cured Meat Championships are always a highlight for AAMP Convention, and this year's competition includes a fresh class featuring fresh bratwurst products.
"Last year at the ACMC, we debuted a fresh class for the first time and were very pleased with the results," Young said. "This year's fresh class is a fresh bratwurst, and we couldn't think of a more appropriate product given our location this year."

"If you have been to an AAMP show, you know that it's unlike any other event in the industry," Young said. "But if it's your first time, be prepared for an event that offers plenty of educational and business opportunities in a casual, family-friendly setting. Be willing to strike up conversations with people you've never met. Maybe it will lead to an answer for your lingering production dilemma. Maybe it will lead to nothing more than a good conversation. But AAMP conventions represent an opportunity for sharing and problem-solving with your fellow small meat and poultry processors, so take advantage."
Registration for the 2026 AAMP Convention is still open -- register here.
