Tyson K-12 introduces two new Proportion® Chicken products for school menus, each of which deliver 2 oz. meat/meat alternate requirements: Southern Breaded and Oven Roasted Chicken. Both products were launched during the School Nutrition Association’s Annual National Conference in mid-July. The Southern Breaded Chicken offers more serving per case and lower price per serving, thus producing less waste and more savings. Each fully cooked cut is packed in a separate, easily identifiable bag for convenience. Tyson’s Oven Roasted Chicken also features new waste-reducing packaging that simplifies serving.
