Premium Black Angus Beef will be appearing on restaurant menus and supermarket shelves more frequently for Canadian consumers as Creekstone Farms Premium Black Angus Beef and C&C Packing Inc., one of the largest independent meat distributors in Canada, have finalized details of their supply agreement this month. As part of this agreement, C&C Packing will serve as the exclusive distributor of Creekstone Farms Premium Black Angus Beef in Canada, with trucks of product rolling out to customers by the end of September.

“This agreement marks an exciting milestone as it is the first countrywide distribution of the Creekstone Farms product in Canada,” said Jim Rogers, vice president of sales and marketing for Creekstone Farms. “We are thrilled to be working with a company who is as knowledgeable and dedicated to their customers as C&C Packing.”

Both companies identified the arrangement as a natural fit aligning with their business values and market demands alike.

“The relationship between Creekstone Farms and C&C Packing is a beautiful complement of like-minded people,” said Ronnie Cons, senior vice president of Purchasing at C&C Packing. “We’ve waited a long time to move forward on an alliance with a company like Creekstone Farms that represents the same quality and reliability we bring to our customers.”

C&C Packing Inc. is a family-owned business started 40 years ago by Stanley Cons. They are CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) approved. They started with 30 stock keeping units (SKUs) and have built their business to 3,000 SKUs of protein products that are supplied to major supermarket and restaurant chains, as well as independent retailers and chefs.
