Ajinomoto Windsor Inc., a Portland, Ore. establishment, is recalling approximately 6,000 pounds of pork products due to misbranding, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product is labeled as beef, but contains pork, which is not declared on the product label.
The pork dumpling item was produced on Dec. 6, 2015. The product is subject to recall is 4-lb. plastic bag packages of “Shirakiku Gyoza Dumplings with Beef” with a best if used by date of June 6, 2017.
