Charcuterie brand Veroni celebrated its 100th anniversary with a showcase at the Summer Fancy Food Show June 29-July 1, 2025. At the show, Veroni showcases its top-selling product lines and a new Mortadella.
Founded in 1925 in Emilia-Romagna, Veroni has grown from a local grocery into a global brand while staying true to its artisanal roots. With $190 million in revenue in 2024 and 25% annual growth in the US, Veroni blends Italian tradition with formats tailored to American tastes.
Throughout the decades, the company has achieved key milestones that have shaped its unique identity. In 1996, Veroni set an unbeaten record with its Giant Mortadella weighing 2.6 tons and measuring 6.5 feet in diameter. In 2016, the brand expanded to the US with a slicing facility in Logan, N.J., where its 100% Italian-imported meats are sliced and packaged to meet US standards while preserving their authentic flavor and quality. In 2021, Veroni became the leading Italian charcuterie brand in the United States according to Circana data.
The brand gained further visibility through partnerships with major tennis tournaments such as the Miami Open, Cincinnati Open, Mubadala Citi DC Open, and Internazionali BNL d'Italia. For the third year in a row, Veroni will be the Official Italian Charcuterie Sponsor of the Cincinnati Open and will debut at the US Open, where it will host a private lounge experience.
Veroni presented two product lines at the Summer Fancy Food Show that blend Italian flavors with convenience: the Aperitime Line and Snack Line. The Apertime Line features three ready-to-serve platters featuring Veroni's premium imported cured meats—such as Salame, Soppressata and Italian Prosciutto—paired with Italian classics like cheese, olives, dried fruit, and breadsticks. The Snack Line features six on-the-go snack packs featuring Italian Salame and Prosciutto, Provolone cheese, dried fruits, and breadsticks. These trays are high in protein and designed for portability.
Veroni's new Mortadella concept features a single, thick-cut 14-ounce slice, measuring 8.7 inches in diameter and 0.8 inches thick, specially crafted for grilling and appetizers. Already well received in the Italian market, this product offers a modern twist on a classic, aiming to enhance and diversify the aperitivo experience.
