Inaugural USMEF event in Taiwan showcases US beef nutrition, sustainability
USMEF Taiwan event positions US beef as a daily ingredient in a healthy lifestyle.

Globally, health and fitness are of growing importance to consumers. In key export markets, the US Meat Export Federation works to promote the nutritional benefits of US red meat. USMEF Taiwan recently hosted an event that integrated fitness, nutrition and sustainability, while positioning US beef as a daily ingredient in a healthy lifestyle.
USMEF’s inaugural Run for our Sustainability was a 5K fun run in New Taipei City. More than 1,000 registered runners and nearly 2,000 attendees participated in the half-day event, which included interactive booths, live stage performances, mascots and other family-friendly activities. Highlights involved samplings of exclusive US beef dishes prepared by 18 industry partners including restaurants and importers.
The event generated extensive digital engagement through social media and news coverage.
Funding support was provided by the Beef Checkoff Program and Iowa Corn Promotion Board.
