Meat Institute names director of member and sponsor recruitment
Meat Institute director of member and sponsor recruitment previously held sales and marketing roles at Midan Marketing and Certified Angus Beef.

The Meat Institute is appointing Maggie O’Quinn as its new director of member and sponsor recruitment.
“Maggie O’Quinn is a welcome addition to the Meat Institute team bringing decades of industry connections and experience to help expand member engagement and to support strategic initiatives,” said Meat Institute President and CEO, Julie Anna Potts. “We are excited for her to start at our Protein PACT Solutions Summit which is a showcase of the Meat Institute’s strategic partnerships up and down the supply chain. We look forward to her hitting the ground running.”
O’Quinn has spent 28 years in the global meat business as a sales and marketing executive. She is passionate about the interdependence of the global meat supply chain, and her career has been focused on building B2C and B2B demand for red meat brands. She previously held sales and marketing roles at Midan Marketing and Certified Angus Beef. She has served on the Annual Meat Conference Planning Committee and the US Meat Export Federation Executive Committee.
As director of member and sponsor recruitment, O’Quinn joins the Meat Institute’s Membership and Experience Team led by Anne Halal, chief experience officer and Eric Zito, vice president of business development, with Teena Vinh, director of marketing and sponsor experience, Megan McCullough, director of member engagement, Brian Peteritas, marketing manager, Nicole Vetsch, director of event experience, Megan Lynn Gifford, director of strategic content and programming and Alison Swanger, membership specialist.
