Archer doubles manufacturing capacity with new California meat snack facility
With the opening of the facility in Vernon, Calif., Archer adds more than 200 jobs to the 150 employees at its existing manufacturing facility in San Bernadino.

Vernon Mayor Leticia Lopez presents Archer Founder and CEO Eugene Kang with a proclamation to commemorate the grand opening of the Archer manufacturing facility in Vernon, Calif.
Meat snack brand Archer, formerly known as Country Archer Provisions, is celebrating the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Vernon, Calif. Located outside of the Downtown Los Angeles area, the plant allows Archer to quickly expand capacity while maintaining control over production and quality standards of its lineup of clean-ingredient meat sticks. The facility enables Archer to keep pace with soaring consumer demand in the rapidly growing category.
“Opening this facility in Los Angeles, the city that has been integral to our growth story, is a major milestone for Archer. This expansion ensures we can meet increased demand for our meat sticks, while also setting us up for long-term category leadership by investing in our own infrastructure,” said Eugene Kang, founder and CEO of Archer. “This plant represents both the strength of our business today and our commitment to building for tomorrow.”
To commemorate the milestone, Archer hosted an on-site ribbon cutting ceremony for distinguished partners and community leaders. With the opening of the facility in Vernon, Archer will add more than 200 jobs, deepening its investment in the Los Angeles community and adding to the 150 employees at its existing manufacturing facility in San Bernadino.
The 140,000-square-foot facility opens at a pivotal time of growth for Archer, which is expected to hit over half a billion in sales by the end of 2026. In the $3.3 billion category according to SPINS data, Archer is experiencing a 90% year-over-year sales increase that outpaces the category's 5.8% growth. This data also shows sales of Archer meat sticks grew by 187.4%, positioning the company as one of the primary drivers of the overall meat stick category's growth.
The Vernon facility is set to double Archer’s overall manufacturing capacity, enabling production of over 36 million pounds of meat sticks – or more than 1 billion Archer Mini Sticks – per year and positioning the brand to meet the growing demand amid consumer trends toward clean label, protein, convenience and snacking.
