Mettler Toledo to host webinar on X-ray inspection
Webinar attendees can see a live demonstration of Mettler Toledo’s dual-energy X-ray systems in action.

Mettler Toledo, a provider of weighing, inspection and analytical technologies for the food processing industry, is hosting a live webinar, "Advanced Detection of Bone with X-ray Inspection," on Dec. 3, 2025. The webinar will be led by Adam Green, market manager for Mettler Toledo. The hourlong event will be run twice, including 9:00 a.m. Eastern.
This webinar explores the benefits of dual-energy technology for advanced bone detection in meat and poultry products. Attendees will learn why these systems outperform single energy methods in identifying low-density contaminants like bone fragments, and they will see a live demonstration of Mettler Toledo’s dual-energy X-ray systems in action.
Finding bone in meat products is a common problem faced by most meat and poultry producers. If contaminated meat reaches consumers, it can put both them and the manufacturer at risk. Consuming contaminants such as bone can cause choking and other injuries. It can also lead to lawsuits, product recalls and brand damage to the company.
Dual energy X-ray inspection can help prevent these issues by identifying low-density contaminants, such as bone, that single energy technology may struggle to find.
