Bar Harbor Seafood to expand facility by 18,000 square feet
H. J. High Construction, a 76-year-old design-build company based in Orlando, will begin this month a nearly 18,000 square foot expansion to Bar Harbor Seafood’s existing 21,000 square foot facility in Orlando. The facility’s addition will support Bar Harbor’s burgeoning business based on growing demand from Florida’s restaurants as consumers begin to dine out more often.
“Bar Harbor Seafood is dedicated to delivering a full range of live, fresh and frozen seafood with a fleet of 28 trucks, and this new expansion will help us meet the growing needs of our customers,” says Jeff Hazell, founder and president of Bar Harbor Seafood. “We chose H. J. High for our project due to their specific experience in food distribution and cold storage facilities, as well as their commitment to understanding our needs and making our priorities their priorities.”
