US pork and beef were promoted as “protein-rich supplements” to 2,300 participants at an F45 Track event at Yonsei University’s main stadium in Seoul.
As consumer interest in fitness trends and nutritional health grows in Korea, the US Meat Export Federation is stepping up efforts to promote the versatility and nutritional benefits of US red meat directly to consumers. Outdoor running, sporting and fitness events invite strong social media participation, which adds to the promotional reach for US red meat.
USMEF partnered recently with F45 Track for a fitness event at Yonsei University in Seoul. F45 Track in Seoul is part of a global network of studios known for its efficient 45-minute functional group training format. USMEF’s booth area promoted US pork and beef as flavorful, high-quality proteins that support athletic performance and recovery. More than 2,300 attended the event.
Immediately following the group workout, USMEF provided US meat lunch boxes for participants featuring sous vide top blade beef steak and pulled pork as central proteins, along with simple sides. Notes attached to each lunch box reinforced a post-workout protein message, positioning US meat as a natural supplement for recharging energy.
