A lauric arginate (LAE) surface treatment, Protect-M is effective against pathogens such as Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria. Used in combination with Purasal® Opti.Form, it is an effective method to achieve Alternative 1 status for control of Listeria in RTE products.
