Greater Omaha Packing expands its ground beef production capacity to almost 450,000 pounds a day, the first step in a facility expansion effort that includes a new automated packing and handling system for frozen product and new value-added packaging.
The beef harvest and fabrication operation aims to add value for its customers through expanding its flexible production, premium packaging and focus on high-quality beef.
The company also recently invested an additional $10 million to enhance its plant-protein technical capabilities at the Creative Solutions Center near its St. Louis, Missouri, headquarters
