The Meat Institute is offering an enrollment webinar Aug. 12, 2025, to preview its fall Supplier Leadership on Climate Transition education course. The enrollment webinar will explain how the Supplier LOCT program can benefit companies and offer participants a deeper understanding of what consumers are demanding from their food producers.

The webinar will feature an overview of the Supplier LOCT program; the importance and urgency around achieving climate progress; the Supplier LOCT journey, and core and elective course content; certificate of completion and badging process; Meat Institute member discount; and next steps to complete enrollment. 

This opportunity is for all Meat Institute members, whether starting from square one on their climate journey or seeking guidance at Scope 3 and achieving targets. The program includes a series of workshops on greenhouse gas tracking, target setting, abatement and disclosure, to help companies take decisive action on climate change. 

Enrollment for the fall 2025 semester is open through Aug. 31.
