Frozen and refrigerated food company Real Good Foods recently expanded into the meatball category with a new chicken meatball line, currently available at H-E-B stores.
This clean-label line is free from seed oils and artificial ingredients, delivering 20–21 grams of protein with 2–3 net carbs per serving. Current flavor varieties include Homestyle, a classic take on comfort food, Italian, seasoned with traditional herbs and spices, Chicken Little, a kid-friendly version, and Teriyaki Pineapple, a sweet and savory iteration for adventurous eaters.
In this exclusive interview, Real Goods Foods Executive Chairman Bryan Freeman walks The National Provisioner through the development process for the meatball line and explains how this innovation aligns with consumer shopping priorities.
