Fast-food restaurant chain Jack in the Box is officially kicking off its 75th anniversary, launching a yearlong celebration packed with throwback menu items, starting with the Chicken Supreme.
“This anniversary is all about celebrating the fans who’ve made Jack in the Box what it is today,” said Ryan Ostrom, chief customer and digital officer at Jack in the Box. “For 75 years, we’ve delivered craveable experiences that are anything but ordinary and our fans have loved us for it. They’re the heart of everything we do, and this year we’re giving it back to them bigger than ever, with the return of cult-favorite items, exclusive Jack Pack rewards, and plenty of unexpected moments that are unapologetically Jack.”
Leading the 75th anniversary celebration is the return of one of the most-requested items in Jack in the Box history: the Chicken Supreme. First introduced in 1980 and retired in 2004, the cult-favorite sandwich is officially back and ready to reclaim its throne as the first of several nostalgic menu returns planned throughout the year. The Chicken Supreme is available in three options:
- Chicken Supreme Combo featuring the Chicken Supreme, small fries, and a small drink
- Double Chicken Supreme Combo featuring a double-stacked Chicken Supreme, small fries and a drink
- Double Chicken Supreme Munchie Meal featuring a double-stacked Chicken Supreme, two tacos, medium curly fries, a drink, plus a limited-edition Jack in the Box bag charm
To keep the celebration going, Jack in the Box will also roll out 75 Days of Trivia throughout the year, serving up in-app trivia questions tied to key dates and fan-favorite moments. App users who answer correctly can unlock same-day offers.
