Land O’ Frost Inc., one of the nation’s best-selling brands of pre-sliced, pre-packaged lunchmeats and a producer of specialty sausage products, today announced the appointment of seasoned supply chain and manufacturing process leader Mike Bartikoski as its senior vice president of operations. In this role, Bartikoski will optimize supply chain and manufacturing processes, identify new technologies and prioritize employee training in an effort to reduce costs, improve efficiency and maximize profitability.

“At Land O’Frost, our business is a team effort from the production line to headquarters, and Mike’s collaborative approach to process management makes him a natural fit in our organization,” said David Van Eekeren, President and CEO at Land O’ Frost. “Mike’s experience within the industry, as well as his passion for innovation, will help us stay at the forefront in our mission to provide high-quality lunchmeat that appeals to everyone in the family.”

Throughout his career, Bartikoski has established a reputation as a results-oriented leader. He’s worked with a range of global brands within the food and beverage industry, including Pepsi-Cola International, Quaker Oats Company and Nestlé Foods Corporation.

Immediately prior to joining Land O’ Frost, Bartikoski ran a consulting practice, Summit 5S Consulting, LLC, where he helped clients develop corporate operations strategies to maximize return on investment. Prior to that, Bartikoski served as the chief operating officer at Roskam Baking Company, where he implemented an operations plan delivering more than $3 million in productivity savings in 2014 and 2015, and also oversaw operations representing more than $2 billion in revenue as a vice president of global manufacturing alliances at The Hershey Company.

“I’ve worked with a variety of public and private organizations. As a family-owned business, Land O’Frost offers the unique combination of a people-centered culture embedded in a large-scale, innovative company,” said Bartikoski. “I am excited to find ways to optimize our approach and find new technologies and techniques that ensure our people are supported and set up for success, so we can achieve Land O’Frost’s business goals together.”

Bartikoski currently serves on the RPI Supply Chain Advisory at Lally School of Management, and he has also served on the board for the Catholic Charities of Harrisburg Diocese, Foundation for Strategic Sourcing and the American School of Warsaw, among others. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., and received his Master’s in Business Administration from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
