Sonny's BBQ unveils meat-packed summer lineup

Barbecue restaurant Sonny's BBQ is debuting its summer menu with a lineup of new menu items designed to elevate any summer barbecue experience.
"Summer and BBQ go hand in hand, and this year, we wanted to create a menu that's as vibrant and flavorful as the season itself," said Shannon Snell, head pitmaster for Sonny's BBQ. "Our new menu captures the essence of summertime with flavors that are bold, bright, and made to share. Whether you're kicking back with friends or gathering for a family feast, the summer menu is a celebration of the season."
Inspired by customer feedback on what they would enjoy at a weekend barbecue, Sonny's Pitmasters crafted a menu that blends familiar classics with new flavors. Seasonal Wings join the appetizers section, featuring smoked wings tossed in a Tennessee vinegar or Sonny's Competition BBQ Sauce.
Sonny's is also introducing the new Tennessee Vinegar Pork Sandwich, featuring a half pound of pulled pork topped with house-pickled onions and drizzled with vinegar sauce on a bun. Also joining the menu is Sonny BBQ's Slider Trio, featuring pulled pork, chopped brisket and pulled chicken, each on a bun and served with house-pickled onions, pickles and a side of Tennessee Vinegar and Sonny's Competition BBQ sauces.
Summer menu, featuring the Tennessee Vinegar Pork SandwichAnother new product is the Sonny's Competition Ribs, featuring St. Louis Ribs grilled and basted with Sonny BBQ's signature Competition BBQ sauce for a balance of smoky, saucy and caramelized flavor.
New meat-packed sides include the BBQ Wedge and Brisket Mac and Cheese. The BBQ Wedge features iceberg lettuce topped with bacon crumbles, red onions, tomatoes, and a drizzle of blue cheese and Sweet BBQ Sauce. The Brisket Mac and Cheese features mac and cheese loaded with chopped brisket, crumbled cornbread, pork rub and a drizzle of Sweet BBQ Sauce.
