USPOULTRY to host Women’s Leadership Conference
Women’s Leadership Conference focuses on topics to assist women in overcoming challenges and becoming successful leaders.

Leadership, financial literacy, successful teams, good communication, health and wellness and resiliency are all challenges that today’s working women face in their professional environment. The US Poultry & Egg Association's 2025 Women’s Leadership Conference will focus on topics to assist women in overcoming these challenges and becoming successful leaders, as well as address the leadership, management and communication skills necessary for professional growth.
The program was developed by a team of professional women in various levels of management and responsibilities who understand these challenges. This year’s conference will be held Aug. 21–22, at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Destin, Fla.

“The planning committee provided timely and relevant topics for this year’s Conference. The agenda offers many areas to help empower women to become successful leaders, as well as expand their professional achievements,” said Alicia Helle, senior planning manager for Cooper Farms, and program planning committee chair.
Session topics include A Rise to the Top; Wealth Management for Female Leaders; Artificial Intelligence: Work Smarter, Not Harder…A Case Study; Health and Wellness Tools for Leadership Success; Interactive Informational Spotlights; and Women Leading with Resilience and Fortitude. A panel discussion on bridging the communication gap will also be held.
The 2025 Women’s Leadership Conference planning committee includes Helle; Amanda Chosewood, Fieldale Farms Corp.; Valerie Dahlke, Wayne-Sanderson Farms; Brittany Dawkins, Pilgrim’s; Lisa Noffsinger, Mississippi State University; and Christy Smith, Tyson Foods.
